BLACKWOOD VINTAGE OO

These Vintage 00 guitars are built in my preferred back and sides wood - Tasmanian Blackwood (Acacia melanoxylon)

This one has a stiff medium grained Alaskan Spruce top and fairly plain Backwood back and sides. The spruce has properties resembling Adirondak Red Spruce used in the original Gibson L00 guitars. It is light and stiff with great trebles. The Blackwood back and sides always accentuate the higher harmonics.

Owned by a great R&B guitarist, this little guitar really has the bite for blues playing

This Vintage 00 has all Australian woods. The Bunya Top and Tasmanian Back and sides give it a sound which is both warm and bright. The response is helped by the Kusmi Golden Seedlac finish.
