Wandoo back of the 2003 Bridgetown Stage 100. Wandoo can vary greatly in colour. It often has dark stripes running through it like this piece and can also show moderate curly grain. It always darkens with age. Under lacquer it becomes a mahogany or milk chocolate colour. In exposed situations such as fingerboards it will age to a dark chocolate brown.
