The body woods are all Tasmanian. I have made a few Huon Pine tops before. Before discovering Bunya it was the Australian topwood I used most. This figured piece is from boards bought in 1980 and has oxidised to a darker colour. The binding on this guitar is ebony, Normally, Huon Pine gives a harmonically rich but quieter sound. This one is loud, possibly due to the seasoning of the top and the way I have braced it. I love this combination of woods!
