The top is Bearclaw Alaskan Spruce, bordered with Paua abalone and Padauk binding. The back is Indian Rosewood with a fine spiderweb pattern often seen in Brazillian Rosewood. To see it click here. The back is not as heavy as Brazillian Rosewood but works very well. the sound is exquisite.
