Such a time-honoured recipe! Sitka spruce and Indian Rosewood have been the staple high-end body woods for many years amongst American guitars. I have hundreds of Indian Rosewood sets and likewise Alaskan spruce tops. This guitar was built for a man who favours fingerstyle playing with a light Sitka top and finely graduated back and sides. The result is a rich, responsive guitar which will grow in complexity and clarity for years, just like one of our fine Margaret River red wines.
